And Anxiety, again…

Before you read this post I suggest you read my first and second post on Anxiety.

My previous post regarding Anxiety explained it as a mental illness. It also explained mental illnesses too.

Before you read this post I suggest you read my first and second post on Anxiety.

This is because my posts on Anxiety will be like a story. With each post being like a chapter. In order to learn the full story you will have to start with the first post.

Everything in life has a sequence, and this is the sequence of me sharing my journey, thoughts, theories and knowledge.

I will be posting up a “new chapter to my story” once a week. I try for every Friday, as that is a blessed day, but as with all words brought to public, I have to choose my words very carefully.

Before I go on, I would like to let all my readers know that I am a qualified SEN Practitioner as well as a Counsellor in training.

I choose to share my story and journey as blog posts because it is a technique I have learnt to get across to the mass public.

Globally, 1 in 13 people suffer from Anxiety according to the statistics and it is the most common mental illness/ disorder as you can see in the bar chart above.

That means that many people I encounter in my daily life suffer quietly without being aware. It also means that you, as a sufferer, are not alone.

It is important to be aware of any form of illness; only then can a cure be found.

Awareness is the first step.

Then acceptance.

Then treatment.

Then a CURE!

That is the bottom line behind all my posts. To share a bit of myself (like Voldymort – no I joke), and reach out to the large population around me, give them that reassurance that they’re not alone, and then guide them to finding their cure.

I’m still undergoing treatment for my Anxiety. But my main goal is a CURE. By the will of the Almighty, I am certain I will reach that goal too.
